Consider bringing snacks, as nearby dining options can be limited, and the in-house restaurant has a limited vegetarian choice.

We booked superior queen room with large balcony and could use wake-up service, available in it. The location was particularly good and amazing - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go.

The breakfast was nice - lovely spot. Most of the staff was very helpful. We liked the location of the hotel and the possibility of using the bikes.
We were disappointed that the three person room we had did not look like the one on the internet picture. We had a cot which was not comfortable. We had hoped to have the room that had a living area with a couch in it that converted to a bed. This felt like false advertising.

Beautifully maintained surroundings and direct access to hiking trails.
The breakfast options were disappointing, as various breads weren't covered, leading to flies on them every day. Room cleanliness left much to be desired. We found dust in the corners and hair on the bathroom floor. Unfortunately, the staff were not very helpful when we requested local transportation information, which caused us to waste money on taxis.

Location is excellent. Just across the road from Lac Brienz. Our children always requested to have a picnic dinner by the lake every night. The view is just incredible. The Alps completely surrounds the lake. Our rooms were lovely. We had the attic room with an incredible view of the lake and the church tower next door. Parking was great and safe. The staff were excellent. The rooms are very clean.
The restaurant is not great. We had a beef patty and salad for dinner on their National Day. It tasted awful, and the salad was completely submerged in awful dressing, just like the one from a bottle. And this was supposed to be a special night for them. It was expensive and none of us finished our salad. So eat elsewhere, better still, have a picnic by the lake, so much memorable, and much cheaper.

We enjoyed our family trip while exploring nearby attractions like Wildpark Brienz and Lake Brienz. The spacious two-bedroom apartment had stunning views and fit our family perfectly with separate rooms and a living area. Plus, the breakfast offerings were quite good. The kids loved the outdoor activities available in the area.

Decor was beautiful, breakfasts excellent and situation perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. We just loved the old-worldly comforts and atmosphere.
We loved our stay but would probably not be able to afford it again, which is a pity. For the price supper should have been included.

- Breakfast is available from 7:45 at terrace seat face to lake. - Free car parking space. - Near from Brunngasse- beautiful woodenhouse
- The building is old and room/equipment is small. - The location is far from center of the Brienz city. - There are 2 buildings and the one building is not lake-view at all. - The inside of builing smells of restaulant, a little bit oily.
